Dear parent/carer, I hope this finds all of our nursery family well and safe. Thankfully the LX team are all well and adhering to all the guidelines set out by the government. All our children are in our thoughts, we miss all the smiles, laughter and happy moments we share each day in nursery. To keep our team connected we have been working together on future planning and topics, we are putting a lot of thought into how we can enhance the children's learning and development when we are all back together. In the course of our research and sharing of ideas we have come across lots of fun ideas, which I want to share with you as you try to keep the little ones busy and engaged at home. Finally I want to thank all of our parents for your very kind words and support at this very difficult time. It really has meant a lot to myself and the rest of the team. Please, please stay home, stay safe and take care of each other. ...

I am devastated to have to inform you, that following the announcement from Stormont yesterday in relation to school closures, I have no choice other than to close the Day Nursery as from tomorrow at 6pm. We are initially planning on restarting on Monday 20th April. This start back date is open to review and may change in line with further information we receive from Social Services and/or the Government. I appreciate that this may appear extremely optimistic, given the fact that schools are closing “until further notice”, however, we want to stay positive and will be doing everything in our power to get back to normality, and have our little ones back in nursery with their friends and carers.
As always, I will keep you all updated with any and all information that we receive.
This has been a very difficult decision, nursery is a big part of our staffs life's and a home from home for our children. Please take care of yourself's and each other and we hope that we will see you all again sooner rather than later.

As I am sure you are aware the government has not yet decided to close child care setting. In nursery we will continue to step up our cleaning regimes and the frequency of hand washing for both staff and children.
It has also been advised that anyone with a new persistent cough or a high temperature should stay at home. We would therefore ask you to keep your child at home in either case, if your child develops any of these symptoms whilst in nursery we will ask you to take them home. Please do not come into nursery yourself if you feel unwell.
At this time our main priority has to be doing all we can to protect and take care of each other. As manager of the nursery I will ensure that we as a staff do all we can to ensure the well being of everyone in our nursery community and I am sure I can count on you all to support us at this difficult time.
